The Opportunity


Veolia Water Operations seeks an experienced Management of Change Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, 4000 on a one-year contract. Within this role you will be responsible for managing change across all aspects of QGC's Water Treatment Facilities, ensuring safe and efficient water production to meet quality standards.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Manage the end-to-end change management process, including approvals, performance tracking, and KPI monitoring 
  • Lead the development of MOC requests, technical documentation, risk assessments, and budget estimates 
  • Oversee quality control, inspection plans, acceptance testing, and approval documentation 
  • Coordinate document and asset information changes across management systems 
  • Conduct stakeholder consultations and peer reviews for engineering work 

Travel

  • Overnight travel to the Central  Water Treatment Plant in Chinchilla and the Northern Water Treatment Plant in Wandoan is required
  • Typical travel is one week out of every six weeks, but frequency and duration may vary based on operational needs. During annual shutdowns, up to two consecutive weeks of travel may be necessary.
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

 

  • Tertiary qualification in engineering discipline 
  • Experience in operating process plants, preferably water treatment facilities 
  • Proven ability to prepare and interpret engineering documentation 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and reporting skills
