Title:  Assistant Accountant

The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join our finance team in our national head office in Brisbane 4000. This is a permanent full-time role where you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and timeliness of financial information correctly reflecting revenue, profit, balance sheet, financial results and related statistics.

This role is paying $75,000 + super

What you'll be responsible for

• Assist in month end close procedures and reporting
• Assist the Finance Manager with balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist in the budgeting process
• Assist and support our Environmental Services business through provision of analytics, feedback and KPI measures to assist in managing the business
• Other adhoc tasks as directed
  
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary Qualified - Commerce or Business related
• About to commence, or working towards completion of CPA
• Experience using Excel or Google Sheets
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant
