Title:  Waste Compliance Officer

The Opportunity

 

Veolia ANZ is seeking a Waste Compliance Officer to join our Botany 2019, NSW team. This role requires a dedicated Contamination Management Officer who will be continuously available to conduct walking inspections in accordance with Schedule 15 of the Georges River Contract and general specifications.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Develop and manage waste compliance projects, ensuring professional delivery for Veolia's clients

  • Implement WasteTrack system processes across residential contracts to meet council KPIs

  • Manage contamination reporting and monitoring, including resident communications and site visits

  • Conduct early morning (4:00 AM start) walking inspections of waste streams such as organics and recycling bins and MUD buildings

  • Collaborate with councils, residents, and stakeholders on waste compliance

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Valid C Class driver’s licence

  • Excellent computer literacy and communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience in community engagement and dealing with people's behaviour and change
