The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Officer (VLO) to join our team in Botany - 2019 - NSW. As the primary contact for waste drivers and clients, you will ensure safe operations while minimising penalties and managing missed services reporting.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for a wide range of operational duties essential for maintaining contract compliance and operational efficiency.

What you'll be responsible for

Optimising bin collection routes for maximum efficiency
-
Managing administrative tasks, including driver hours and billing reports
-
Swiftly resolving customer issues with a solution-oriented approach
-
Addressing operational queries from Customer Services, Sales teams, and clients
-
Participating in daily driver shift debriefs to capture incidents and issues
-
Meeting site safety KPI’s including conducting monthly safety toolbox meetings

Ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics operations
What you'll need to be successful

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Excellent computer literacy and communication skills

Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and Salesforce

Talent for building relationships with diverse stakeholders

Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication and negotiation

Unwavering commitment to health and safety practices

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Strong knowledge of NHVR and COR compliance
