The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Remediation Site Supervisor.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Manage a broad scope of remediation projects including soil remediation, water treatment, waste management and civil works.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations at customer sites.
  • Prepare health, safety and environmental documentation and provide project reporting.
  • Manage project resources requirements including labour, equipment, trades and logistics.
  • Undertake field-based activities including soil and water sampling.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, legislative, and Veolia corporate obligations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.Drive Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ Culture.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in the industry. 
  • Demonstrated experience in site operations and logistics management.
  • Experience in soil remediation, civil, environmental or water projects (desired).
  • Practical experience in SHEQ Management systems including contractor management in field-based or industrial environments.
  • A working knowledge of EPA, NEPM, Worksafe, Dangerous Goods, and other regulatory bodies and requirements (desired).
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
  • Be able to commit to regional and interstate travel.
  • Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
