The Opportunity

Veolia has a unique, newly created position for an experienced ICT Manager to join our fast-growing Energy team. Based on the Sunshine Coast you will be responsible for managing customer technology hubs, cloud-based analytics platforms, and driving innovative strategies for dynamic carbon management solutions.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Establish, maintain and support energy and carbon reporting software systems for Veolia clients.
  • Managing ICT systems performance, maintenance, cyber security and risk mitigation.
  • Establishing and monitoring dashboards to provide analytical reporting to the client.
  • Project management and supervision of systems implementation in the carbon management space.
  • P&L Management including staffing
  • Ensure all compliance and governance obligations (Veolia, customer and regulatory) are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Managing ICT costs, budget planning and life cycle replacement.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Proven experience (at least 5 years’) in an operational ICT role.
  • Degree or trade qualified in an ICT field highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in ICT and business operations management roles 
  • Strong technical knowledge of customer premises systems and cloud analytics platforms.
  •  Excellent project management and supervisory skills.
  •  Proficiency in ICT systems management, including performance, security, and compliance 
  • Expertise in budget planning, cost management, and life cycle replacement 
  • Ability to research and implement innovative business process improvements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Current licence and reliable transport.
