Title:  Maintenance Operator

The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking a Field Operator Maintainer to join our water operations team at the Springvale Mount Piper Power Station Water Treatment Facility near Lithgow, NSW 2790. In this hands on role, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining critical water treatment infrastructure while ensuring we meet contractual requirements and maintain the highest safety and environmental standards.

What you'll be responsible for

• Monitor and operate all plant equipment, processes and systems to meet operational and contractual targets

• Perform first-line routine, preventative and breakdown maintenance on water treatment assets

• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting of plant equipment and processes

• Undertake laboratory analysis, testing and water sample collection

• Participate in shift work roster including weekends and public holidays as required

• Maintain accurate records and contribute to effective asset management systems

• Respond effectively to out-of-hours plant breakdowns when required

What you'll need to be successful

• Mechanical, process or electrical trade experience (trade qualification preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience in industrial plant operations and maintenance highly regarded
