The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ has a fantastic opportunity for an Operations/Shift Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Resource Recovery Facility Bibra Lake. 

 

Reporting to the Resource Recovery Park Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating on-site activities, ensuring adherence to Veolia's safety and compliance policies, and maintaining a secure working environment.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Overseeing and supervising all operations of the Material Recovery Facility and Waste Transfer Station, ensuring adherence to operational KPIs, safety protocols and standards.

  • Providing guidance and support to the team, managing rostering, performance and staff training.

  • Overseeing and coordinating the activities of customers and external contractors on site.

  • Driving continual improvement of operational processes and procedures.

  • Ensuring safety standards are maintained at all times.

What you'll need to be successful

  • Cert IV in Frontline Management (preferred) or equivalent

  • Front End Loader and Excavator experience desirable

  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role

  • Waste industry experience

  • Mechanically minded 

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
