Support site operations in the design, developing, and optimising production processes to enhance efficiency. This role involves managing site personnel and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Ensure safety, wellbeing and quality standards for environmental compliance.

Monitor and review operational activities and provide technical oversight and troubleshooting.

Coordinate and plan effective interaction for general site operations, while reporting to and liaising with the Facility Manager and site management.

Manage resources, costs, and site activities efficiently, ensuring all plant maintenance, modifications, and repairs are completed to high standards.

Oversee and allocate QHSE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) responsibilities for maintenance and production work, and perform other duties as required
What you'll need to be successful

Tertiary degree in a relevant engineering field (civil, electrical, industrial, chemical or mechanical)

Experience in project management and delivery of process plant systems from design to operational handover

Experience in managing process plant operations.

Experience in leading/mentoring and ability to communicate with a multi-faceted team.

exposure in the operation of a process plant, plant unit processes and diagnostic methods.

Ability to investigate safety incidents and provide continuous improvement to site safety.

Ability to quickly identify issues and develop effective solutions.

Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes, along with familiarity with design software like AutoCAD.

Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing or production environment
