Join Veolia's Victorian Water Operations team as a Senior Process Engineer, where you'll safeguard drinking water and wastewater quality across regional Victoria (Bendigo, Ballarat, and CFA contracts). This is a flexible, technical leadership role where you'll drive sustainability, mentor teams, and make a genuine environmental impact with Australia's leading water solutions provider.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Ensure water and wastewater quality exceeds regulatory and contractual standards
  • Optimise treatment processes through data analysis and innovative solutions
  • Lead technical investigations and implement process improvements
  • Champion sustainability initiatives to reduce chemical and energy consumption
  • Mentor operations teams and provide expert technical guidance
  • Support business development and engage with industry organisations

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Environmental, or related discipline)
  • Experience in water or wastewater treatment operations
  • Understanding of Australian Drinking Water Guidelines and environmental legislation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
