What you'll be responsible for

• Operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and distribution assets
• Proactive use of SCADA to monitor, operate, and maintain treatment processes, including fault finding, repairs, and data collection. 
• Performing field collection and laboratory analysis of water samples. 
• Responding to emergencies and participating in after hours on call rotations.
• Excellence in safety, quality, and environmental performance through continuous improvement
   

What you'll need to be successful

• Commitment to or completion of Certificate III in Water Operations.
• Trade qualification (electrical, mechanical, process, or plumbing) is desirable
• Strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
• A reliable team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
