Title:  Tender Manager/Bid Manager

The Opportunity

In this critical role you will bring your sharp strategic know-how and growth mindset to support the National Tender Desk and design, write and co-ordinate winning proposals. You will create tenders that articulate and sell Veolia’s strong differentiators, that are fully embedded in the business’ sale cycle and embody best practice at all stages.

Onboarding will occur in Brisbane over the course of one week.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Design, innovative intuitive proposals that seamlessly blend technical and operational content in a compelling and engaging manner

  • Identify, manage and collaboratively work with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout the entire tender process, including win strategy refinement and proposal approval

  • Strategically write, proof and edit proposal documentation, to ensure a cohesive and concise submission

  • Proactively support the sales lifecycle and sales team through the creation of presentations, reports, newsletters and audits

  • Manage the end-to-end tender process, including oversight of all proposal correspondence, and coordination during and after submission, and

  • Ensure the tender library and tender pipeline is updated and maintained.

What you'll need to be successful

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a bid/ proposal and/or strategic sales function

  • Proven experience in the preparation, coordination and writing of large-scale client-centric proposals and other complex documents

  • Demonstrated track record in relationship-building with an ability to network with diverse stakeholder groups across all seniorities

  • High level of professional writing, editing and proofing skills with strong attention to detail.
