Based in Auckland NZ , as a Health & Safety Advisor specializing in Process Safety, you'll provide frontline health and safety compliance advice and support.

What you'll be responsible for

This hands-on role (80% field-based) focuses on:

• Process Safety, including Permit to Work and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) 
• Application of Hazard and Risk Management Systems (HRMS)
• Management of Change (MOC) for engineering and biological processes

Key responsibilities:
• Implement and audit management systems for process safety, LOTO and MOC
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements
• Support development of site safety plans and safe operating procedures
• Deliver safety training and coach operations teams on risk assessments
• Facilitate incident investigations and emergency management training

What you'll need to be successful

Requirements:

• NZ Certificate in Workplace Health and Safety (Level 4) or equivalent

• NZISM Practitioner Accreditation
• Extensive experience in Process Safety, LOTO and MOC
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and computer skills
• Current driver's license

Desired:
• ICAM Lead Investigator training
• Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment
• First Aid Certificate
