Based in Auckland, and reporting to the Project Coordinator, this role is primarily responsible for on site supervision and delivery of wastewater and stormwater renewals, and the completion of administration work related to these activities. You continually drive for improvement by promoting new initiatives, challenging the status quo and aiming for improved efficiencies and operational outcomes.

What you'll be responsible for
- Supervise and safely deliver wastewater and stormwater trenchless renewal upgrades and complete the associated administration work in an accurate and timely manner.
- Contribute to the management of the Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems while applying the procedures in all aspects of work.
- Adhere to all written and verbal instructions, procedures and information issued by Veolia New Zealand relating to both health and safety and environmental issues and with all relevant clauses of the Integrated Business Management System Manual.
- Comply with the requirements of the company business management system and the Quality Policy for drinking water, wastewater treatment and disposal to contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high quality drinking water and wastewater services that consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of the Contracts.
- Report any problems with the business management system, particularly in relation to the management of occupational health and safety, environment and drinking water.
- Undertake such general duties as required for the effective provision of services to the client and customers.
What you'll need to be successful
Qualifications:
- Level 4 National Certificate is required (or willingness to work towards), or
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Experience:
- Proven construction and supervision management experience, ideally in water and wastewater reticulation infrastructure
- Ability to deliver independent project management services in a client/customer facing environment
- Experience in trenchless renewal technology
- Previous experience in trade is considered advantageous
Other relevant skills or information:
- Current driver's licence
- Ability and willingness to work out of hours when required
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health and Safety legislation
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong report writing, literacy, numeracy and computing skills

You are naturally self-motivated, proactive with your planning and organisation ability and with a high degree of personal integrity you lead by example by demonstrating an excellent work ethic.
With confidence in your own judgement and capability, one of your strengths includes the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and pivot when necessary.
