The Process and Compliance Specialist will drive process optimization and regulatory compliance (DWQAR & RC) excellence across Veolia New Zealand's water operations. You'll ensure best practice outcomes, support our ecological transformation objectives, and work collaboratively with operational compliance champions across VNZ contracts.

What you'll be responsible for
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process optimization initiatives
- Drive regulatory compliance excellence, focusing on DWQAR & RC
- Collaborate with operational compliance champions
- Implement best practices in water and wastewater operations
- Support Veolia's ecological transformation goals
What you'll need to be successful
Desired:
- Engineering Degree (Process, Chemical, Environmental, or related field)
- Minimum (7+ and 12+) years experience; and at least 5 year working in related areas to water/wastewater treatment operations
- Expertise in process optimization and compliance management
- In-depth knowledge of NZ drinking water standards and environmental regulations
- Experience with SCADA systems and process control
- Water treatment operator certification (desirable)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical and report writing abilities
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and computer skills
- Current driver's license
