The Opportunity


We're seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Officer to join our team in Arndell Park and develop your career in a high-growth sales environment. You'll support the management of a customer portfolio across Sydney, focusing on contract renewals and new business growth. This is an excellent entry-level role to launch your sales career with a purpose-driven global leader.Join Veolia's Sales team in Arndell Park as an Internal Sales Officer, providing critical support to our field sales team. You'll engage with customers over the phone, building relationships and identifying growth opportunities within our SME client base. This office-based role is essential to delivering a smooth sales process and promoting our Waste services.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Supporting revenue growth through renewals and new business development

  • Assisting in managing and nurturing customer accounts across Sydney

  • Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities under guidance

  • Working towards sales targets with team support

  • Building positive, long-term customer relationshipsManaging incoming calls, emails, and customer requests while supporting field sales

  • Identifying upsell opportunities and maintaining customer contracts prior to expiry

  • Generating leads and conducting outbound calls to current and potential clients

  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and clients

  • Ensuring accurate data entry and escalating complaints/compliments to management

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a sales environment

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools (training provided)

  • No prior sales experience required—we'll provide comprehensive trainingCertificate VI in Business or equivalent workplace experience

  • Proven experience in inbound/outbound sales with SME customers

  • Strong computer literacy (CRM, Gmail, G Suite, and preferably AS400, SAP, or SalesForce)

  • Professional telephone manner with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet sales targets
