The Opportunity
Are you a driven finance professional looking to grow your career within Veolia’s transport business?
Join our NSW Environmental Services commercial finance team. In your day-to-day, you will prepare and review financial and management reports, working closely with operational and finance leaders, to deliver insights to improve performance and support strategic decision making.
This is a permanent full-time role based in our Arndell Park office, with the option to occasionally work from home.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Preparation and delivery of financial and management reports working closely with operational business partners and the Finance Manager

Financial analysis and variance reporting, with a focus on understanding the operational drivers behind performance

Build and maintain commercial models and profitability reviews

Balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards

Own the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting activities

Ad hoc accounting and finance tasks
What would be advantageous
-
Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent and significant accounting experience

Must be working towards completion of CA or CPA qualification (or qualified)

Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a high volume and complex business

Audit experience desirable

Experience with SAP, TM1, Gsuite and MS office is an advantage

Experience in logistics or waste industries would be beneficial but not essential
