The Opportunity

As our Account Manager responsible for our NSW Government Account, you will develop and implement site assessments, site audits and waste education programs for  NSW Government Agencies , focusing on waste avoidance, waste reduction and recycling. You will work with client stakeholders to find ways to avoid contamination and increase service efficiencies. You will focus on achieving cost reduction across the portfolio of the existing account and leveraging your relationships to secure further growth in sustainable outcomes

What you'll be responsible for

• Retention - manage the relationships to a high degree of client satisfaction

• Growth - achieve sustainable growth across the portfolio via strong relationships

• Account management - maintain educational material, site efficiency plans and hold monthly management meetings with minutes and follow up actions.

What you'll need to be successful

• Sales experience in a similar role and experience in the waste and recycling or similar industry is desirable.

• Strong reasoning abilities, including defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions;

• Solid commercial acumen and experience in negotiating service contracts;

• Excellent organisational and problem solving skills;

• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
