The Opportunity


 

Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced  Collection Services & Fleet manager to lead our operations in Kilburn - 5044. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the comprehensive waste management operations across metropolitan Adelaide, including the management of our South Australian workshop and fleet facilities.

What you'll be responsible for


 

  • Lead resource allocation to meet balanced scorecard objectives and KPI targets

  • Oversee and deliver Adelaide Waste Collection Services budgets

  • Drive operational excellence through balanced scorecard and KPI achievement

  • Lead team performance management, goal setting, and development planning

  • Establish regular performance monitoring and feedback systems

  • Foster and maintain a workplace culture aligned with Veolia values

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the Operations and Sales teams

  • Evaluate business opportunities and support new business bid preparations

  • Ensure compliance with relevant Awards & EBAs for direct reports

  • Partner with SHEQ team to maintain NHVR safety compliance standards

What you'll need to be successful


 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (Management or Logistics) OR minimum 10 years equivalent industry experience

  • Proven experience in identifying and implementing organisational efficiencies

  • Demonstrated change management expertise

  • Strong track record in managing safety and environmental compliance

  • Experience leading teams in safety-focused environments

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements

  • Valid Australian Driver's License
